Check storage before large imports
Large record imports and private uploads check real-time Wix item and byte headroom before writing their first parts. The CEO storage screen shows remaining items, core size and collection usage.
- Improvements and fixes
Import and upload safety: Bulk changes use consistentRead=true before persistence, accounting for new immutable parts, the state head, encoded file chunks and manifests. Unknown or insufficient capacity stops the write without inserting those parts. Production and maintenance transports use the same check; originals and history remain retained.
- New
System capacity status: The CEO-only status screen shows remaining live and sandbox items, live-use percentage, always-loaded core size, application limit and collection counts and bytes. Live and sandbox item limits remain separate; storage bytes remain pooled.
The preflight is a capacity check, not a cross-request reservation. Concurrent writes or provider changes can still consume headroom; existing retry/integrity checks remain. Small routine saves keep their existing path. Quota expansion, deletion, forecasts, independent recovery and separate-environment acceptance remain open.
