Identify printed expense subtotals from their column header and following balance, retaining item-sum discrepancies as separate source reviews.
Improvements and fixes
Report subtotal reconciliation: Read standalone subtotals with column and balance-row evidence, including singular expense captions and dated negative balances, without deriving an absent total.
New
Source item discrepancies: Preserve the printed subtotal when individual items disagree, with a red expense-field marker and an original-linked review for the authorised Accountant.
These are original-report figures, not bank receipts or transfers. Existing non-null values, periods, contracts and access remain intact. Absent printed totals, source reviews and independent acceptance remain open.
